Is my app broken?
You may think your app/website is broken, but the VOW data was just removed. You and your clients can still search for available listings. (However; we know the value of sold data and are actively working to restore it for you.)
Below is a sample of what you and your clients may see if you had any VOW-only listings in your Likes, List, Saved Searches.

What to expect currently
In the app
- The Browse tab will not currently show unavailable listings unless searching for a specific address or MLS® number.

- The Alerts tab will currently show a message that a listing is “unavailable”.

- The Lists tab will currently show a message that a listing is “unavailable” inside a list.

- The Lists tab will currently show a message that a listing is “unavailable” in the Saved Search summary screen.

For agents
Tapping on the message that a property is unavailable will offer the option to open the listing in REALM or to contact Listed Support.

For clients
Tapping on the message that a property is unavailable will prompt clients to contact their agent. The message from clients to agents will include the address of the listing, as well as the MLS®#, allowing the agent to assist their clients.

What happened
On Tuesday June 17th, Listed's PropTx VOW feed access was disabled (more accurately, agents' VOW agreements were disabled by PropTx).
This only applies to MLSs / Boards who are part of PropTx. We are actively working through legal channels to reverse this and restore the access to VOW / sold data.
Terms explained
If you aren’t familiar with the terms PropTx, VOW or IDX here is a short summary:
- PropTx: The MLS® that includes the boards such as TRREB, OREB, OMDREB, LSTAR, etc.
- VOW (Virtual Office Website): A password-protected site that gives registered users access to full MLS® data, including sold prices and historical information.
- IDX (Internet Data Exchange): A public website feature that displays active MLS® listings with limited data, without requiring user registration.
What it means
- Active listings in the IDX feed will still be available in the app. This makes up ~96% of active listings.
- Active listings in the VOW feed only (aka not available in IDX) were removed from your Listed app/website as of June 17th and:
- Will NOT appear when using the “blue arrow location button” in the top right corner in the Browse tab.
- Will NOT appear on the Map.
- Will appear in search results as “unavailable” when using a specific address or MLS® number.
- VOW listings that were already in your Saved Search results, Alerts or Lists will no longer show at all. Instead, you will see a message that the property is unavailable.
- Any VOW-only listings from June 16th onwards will not be available in Listed at all. (Until access is restored.)
- Certain data, you are used to seeing on active listings, will no longer be available because they are VOW-only fields. These fields include:
- inclusion remarks
- exclusion remarks
- private remarks (agents only)
- possession date
- property history including all sold data and sold history
- Saved Searches with filters that are limited to just sold or delisted statues will not be able to match any unavailable (sold or delisted) listings.
FAQs
- Why is sold and delisted still in the filters? Why is property history still on the PDP?
We hope to restore the access to sold data and delisted listings soon, and are focusing our efforts on that instead of updating the app. Additionally, sold and delisted listings are available in other markets, depending on the agent's presence and access to those markets.
- Are listings from other MLSs affected? If the agent is a member with active VOW agreements with another MLS (other than PropTx), they, along with their clients, will continue to maintain access to that MLS' VOW listings.
