The purpose of this page is for agents to understand the difference between Listed Premium ($1,908 + tax) and Listed Professional ($0) Listed helps agents attract and retain business.

Why does Listed Professional exist? We believe consumers should be able to connect to their agent and experience Listed Premium, without that connection being dependent on the agent paying for Listed.

  • Unlike other services that cut you off when you don't pay, on Listed agents can offer their clients the premium version of Listed and only the agent experiences the downgrade. Listed is always a premium experience for consumers.
  • Downgraded agents remain connected to clients, informed about client activity and engaged with clients.
  • In other words, Listed professional remains the agent's best business generation tool.
  • Without Listed, agent’s clients are more likely to be on competitor apps or inferior tools that push clients back to competitor apps. This leaves agents and clients disconnected
  • Note: Data agreements with your Board(s) must be and remain in good standing to use Listed.

(Plus a $300 set-up fee that is waived, if your client invites you)

  • Use Listed to generate business with the aspiration of upgrading to premium.
  • Text the word “upgrade” to us at +1 (647) 560-1026 for assistance
  • When your clients have Listed they get you, not another agent.
  • When your clients have Listed and share a listing with a friend, that friend gets you instead of another agent
  • If you choose to downgrade, when you later choose to upgrade you’ll be charged the market price of Listed . Note: you’re advantaged by getting in earlier than later.

Benefits of Listed compared to alternatives:
  • Unlike other services where agent's clients are connected to the listing agent or another brokerage's agent, on Listed the client only sees one agent, their own agent.
  • Unlike your MLS®, on Listed you’re connected to all the Boards you’re part of in one, unified place. Simply log into your Board from the three dots, located in the upper-right corner of any listing. Now you can offer your clients a single tool, through you.
  • Unlike other apps with limited inventory, Listed offers a fully compliant Coming Soon and Exclusive listing platform called Broker List®.
    • Listed recognizes and appreciates the difference between Coming Soon and Exclusive listings. The distinction is simple:
      • Coming Soon listings have a final destination of the MLS® and Exclusive listings do not.
      • Coming Soon listings have a publicly allowable marketing period (currently 3 days) and are treated as Exclusives until they enter their publicly allowable marketing period.
      • Exclusive listings (and Coming Soon listings that are not within their allowable public marketing period) are never publicly marketed. They can be seen and shared within their brokerage (by agents and admins), and they can be sent or shared via a direct-one-to-one communication to agents outside their brokerage, individually.
The Exclusive and Coming Soon Network on Listed, called Broker List®, is officially launching in June 2024.

How we overcame the challenges of agents being fearful to sign up because of the risk they’d have to keep paying and created beautiful ‘risk free’ product.

Read the history regarding the challenges Listed faced when trying to invent a risk-free product for agents. One they’d be willing to try and would want to pay for, but, most importantly, would never fear losing. This is why Listed worked to make a free, downgraded version available.

Problem

Question:
How could we offer Listed to agents and reassure them that they and their clients would always be connected regardless of whether they had a paid or free Listed account? And, how could we assure consumers they could work with their agent, on Listed, without any cost imposed on their agent?

Early last year we recognized we had two impediments to our own product-market-fit resulting in these questions: Part 1) These questions emerged when we noticed some agents not jumping in excitedly to use Listed and we couldn't figure out why. Now we get it. Would you store (or upload) all your photos in a location where, if you stopped paying, you'd lose access to them (those priceless memories)? An agent's clients are the agent's value. This value needs surety against loss and confidence in tools that provide value regardless of payment tier. Part 2) All people wanted to use the best tools but interestingly, one-third wanted to use these tools with their own agent and two-thirds wanted only the tool and no agent at all. The public doesn't realize that t's not possible to view MLS® listings without presentation by an accredited agent who is part of a brokerage and has Board approved data agreements in place. Any listing that's online and doesn't have an agent (brokerage & MLS) connected to it is a FSBO. Everything else, (for now anyway) is part of Organized Real Estate. Therefore, we decided to double-down on ensuring consumers were connected to their own agent. Not only is this ultimately good for the consumer but it mutually aligns their interests, making life better for everyone.

We learned (and appreciate) the following about agents:
  • Agents are being inundated with new technologies
  • Agents can’t easily determine what new services have value and are worth paying for
  • Agents expect their Real Estate Board to provide the best tools and feel frustrated they need to pay for something ‘extra’ just to have tools as good as “their clients have”.
  • Agents are so busy helping clients or preparing for new business that there isn’t time to learn a new thing and have a balanced life.
  • Agents need to feel confident and on the ball with what they know and the industry is in a time of uncertainty than ever faced previously, just coming out of high interest rates and low supply and sales making 2023 a hard year for many, incorporating and learning about new Real Estate Legislation (TRESA, REALTOR® Cooperation Policy), and lawsuits that place the value of agents into question and challenge commission structures moving forward (Listed helps with all of this).

 

Listed Professional

Provides a free "Professional" version allowing agents to downgrade from Premium, stay connected to clients, and continue providing Listed to clients without interruption. The agent themselves uses the non-premium "professional" version, which is "less convenient" but enables the agent to work towards business generation. For agents, using Listed Professional is preferable to clients using other services that are inferior or returning to ad portals or competitor products that disconnect them from their agent.
 

Agent Choice

Offering a downgraded options removes any fear of a service interruption. Note: agents must remain in good standing with their Real Estate Board. Listed Professional has the benefit of keeping agents in ‘digital conversation’, in real life, with their clients. Instead of agent’s clients being forced to resort to googling for information, being on inferior products or using competitor apps, Listed keeps agents and clients connected and collaborate. Most other apps connect the client to the listing agent, another agent, or offer cash-back and other unappealing alternatives. On Listed, the client is always only ever connected to their own agent, they are the only agent in the app for their clients, and sharing grows the agents network as they, and their clients, use and share Listed with friends, family and colleagues.
Moving forward, agents will have the option to pay for, and remain on, Listed Premium or downgrade to Listed Professional.
