This is the most important Listed article.
You want to ensure your clients are connected to you. This article shares the best practices for adding and inviting clients to Listed.
You might wonder, if my client just searches for “Listed” in the iOS App Store or Google Play are they connected to me? Not if you don’t add them first and then send them your link.
- In Step one, you add them to Listed, but it doesn’t send it to them
- In Step two, you let them know about the app so they can download it.
Agent-Client Pairing
Think of this step as creating a reservation for your client at restaurant and ensuring that, when they show up at the restaurant, they’ll be seated at your table.
The “reservation” is a pairing of their cell phone number with your agent account. When you “pair” them they are not invited to Listed. You need to tell them about Listed by choosing one of two methods of sharing. These methods are described in more detail below.
Go to Step One to Add clients
- Add their name and phone number under Me tab > Clients
- This simply ‘pairs’ them with you
- In Step 2, you will “Share the app” or “Invite” them.
- If you dont’ know their cell number you can go to step 2 and “Share the app” from Me > Share the app
As a rule of thumb— ”Add” then “Share”

Step 1
- Add clients to pair them with your Listed app in Step 1, before letting them know about it in Step 2.
- If you don’t know your client’s cell phone number. Stop here and go to step 2. → Scroll down to step 2.

Step 2
- Send to client by one of these two methods after adding them in Step 1.
- If you know your client’s cell number, stop, and go back to step 1, and add them first. → Scroll down to step 1
Add Clients to Listed

Add clients to pair them with your Listed app before letting them know about it.
Go to the Me Tab

Go to Clients

Tap “Add clients”

Tap “Add contact manually”

Add Client Name & Cell Number

Tap “Continue”

Tap “Continue”

Done! Now Share the app or Invite them

Share Listed with Clients

Send Listed to your clients, after adding them in Step 1.
- If you don’t have their cell number then simply let them know about Listed by tapping the purple “Share the app” located on the “Me” tab.
- If you have added them in Step 1, you can choose “Share the app” or “Invite”
- Share the app - takes them to the App Store indirectly by taking them to your Listed website first
- Invite - takes them to the App Store directly, this is the best option if you’ve already added them.
