How to change the type of my listing draft.

Learn how to navigate your listing draft to edit it to a Coming Soon listing or an Exclusive listing.

Summary

  • Go to your listing from the three dots in the top right and tap “Edit” or go to Your Draft by:
    • Going to the Me tab,
    • tap Listings and then
    • Add Broker List® Listing.
    • Access your drafts from here.
  • Change Your Draft Type:
    • Tap a draft to open its Summary page, then tap Listing Type to access the listing type page.
  • Listing Type Options:
    • Choose one of these options as the listing type:
    • Coming Soon
    • Exclusive
    • Then, enter any extra information if necessary.
  • Save Your Draft:
    • After editing listing type, tap Done, then Save draft to save your changes.

Step-by-step Instructions

Open a listing draft, then tap “Listing Type” to open the draft’s listing type page.

Once the draft is created and you wish to change its listing type, continue to follow this article.
 
Listed app supports two listing type options:
  1. Coming Soon
  1. Exclusive

Do I choose Exclusive or Coming Soon as a Listing type?
 
Continue with this article to discover what information to edit for each listing type option. Once you have changed the listing draft type and want to close the listing type page, tap “Done”, then tap “Save draft” to save your changes.
 

1. Coming Soon

Tap “Coming Soon” to set the listing draft as a Coming Soon listing.
 
Choosing “Coming Soon” as the listing type means that once published, your listing:
  • Has a date to go live on the MLS®
  • Is visible to the public on Listed for up to 72 hours prior to going Live on the MLS®
  • Is treated like an Exclusive listing until entering its consumer public marketing period
 
Next, tap “Live on MLS® date” to edit the date that the listing goes live on the MLS®.

Next, tap “Done” to close the listing type page, then tap “Save draft” to save your changes.
 
💡 Tips
Scroll down on the Listing type page to check the public marketing period of your Coming Soon listing draft. The information in this area updates automatically based on the Live on MLS® date you select.

As shown, you can double-check when your Coming Soon listing draft will become visible to agents and consumers on Listed once published. The timestamps are displayed in your local timezone for convenience, covering the three-day public marketing period.
 

2. Exclusive

Tap “Exclusive” to set the listing draft as an Exclusive listing.
Choosing “Exclusive” as the listing type means that once published, your listing:
  • Is not intended to go to the MLS®
  • Is never publicly visible to consumers
  • Is visible to agents within your brokerage and agents from other brokerages with whom you have sent the listing to in a direct one-to-one communication
 
Next, tap to select an expiry date in the calendar view further down the page. Swipe your finger on the calendar view to scroll across months if necessary.

The expiry date is valid when it occurs after today.
 
Next, tap “Done” to close the listing type page, then tap “Save draft” to save your changes.
 

 
Finally, after you have done editing the listing draft type, tap “Save draft” to save your changes. A banner will show at the top of the page to confirm your listing draft was saved.

Congratulations - you’ve successfully changed the listing type of your listing draft!
