Benefits
While not mandatory, a well-tailored listing draft classification offers significant advantages to your listing:
- Enhances listing comprehensiveness. All information entered in the listing classification is displayed on the listing’s property detail page when published, providing comprehensive information about your listing.
- Integration with filtering and Broker List® tools on Listed to make “Your Network Working®”.
- Improved search results: The more detailed your listing classification, the better chance it has of appearing in search results when you filter listings in the Browse tab.
- Inclusion in Saved Searches: Detailed listing classification allows your listing to be included in Saved Searches of potential buyers (visibility varies).
- Matching potential buyer interest: A well-tailored listing classification helps match your listing with potential buyers’ interests when it is published, allowing you to collaborate with them effectively. Click the links below to learn more.
Type/Category
Selections in the “Type/Category” section of a listing draft match the “Property type” filter in the Browse tab.
For example, if you select “Condo” and publish the listing, it will be included in “Condo” filtered searches and any Saved Searches specifying “Condo”.
