Why did I receive a Broker List® listing?
Learn why you received an Exclusive or Coming Soon listing from the listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin. Listed relies on your and your clients Saved Searches to get Matched Interest.
2 reasons
There are two reasons why you may receive an Exclusive or Coming Soon listing from the listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin.
Wondering why you can or can’t see a Broker List® listing? Read our short article answering why.
1. Matched Interest
If you or your client(s) created a Saved Search with filters matching the Broker List® listing of another agent, they may send their listing to you in a direct communication because of Matched Interest. That’s how supply and demand comes together on Listed to maximize exposure while maintaining privacy and meeting the needs of your Seller, while also providing an opportunity for buyer clients and cooperating agents.

Example (part 1 of 2) - Listing agent
The listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin will receive an alert when new agents have interest for their listing. They can tap the alert to access the direct communication screen or tap the “Others’ Matched Interest” row on the property detail page. Suggested agents will appear at the top of the list with a purple “Send” button next to their names. The listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin can tap “Send” to send their listing in a 1-to-1 direct communication to other agents.
Example (part 2 of 2) - Cooperating agent
You will receive an alert when a new listing was sent to you. Tap the alert to access the property detail page and tap the “Matched Interest” row to view your and your client(s) Matched Interest. If you don’t see any, it’s possible that the listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin sent it to you because they wanted exposure even if you were not suggested to them.
2. Personal Decision
If you or your client(s) didn’t have Matched Interest on a Broker List® listing that you received, it’s possible that the listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin decided to send it to you personally in a direct communication to maximize the exposure of their listing in compliance with the rules from the CREA.
Example
The listing agent, co-listing agent or brokerage admin tap the “Others’ Matched Interest” row on the property detail page, tap “Search for an agent” to find you and tap “Send” to send it in a 1-to-1 direct communication.
