Can’t see exclusive listings? Create a ‘Saved Search’

You can see listings from agents within your brokerage and listings that are within their three day public marketing period. You can see listings that have been sent to you in a direct, one-to-one communication from agents outside your brokerage, ‘if’ they know to send them to you—which is why you need create a Saved Search.

Saved Searches translate “what you or your clients are looking for” to the listing agent. The listing agent can then send you their listing in a direct, one-to-one communication on Listed.

STEPS

For Creating a Broker List Saved Search
  • Open Listed
    • Make sure you’re on the Browse tab
  • Go to the Map view
    • Tap the ‘Map View’ to go to the Map
  • Open the filter
    • Tap “Reset to Default filters”
    • Tap “MLS” to turn it “off” (it’s “on” by default)
    • Tap “Done”
  • Adjust the map
    • Zoom in or out on the map by pinching with two fingers on the screen
    • Pinching by bringing your fingers closer together zooms the map out
    • Once you can see the area where you’d like to be notified about exclusive listings, stop zooming
  • Create a shape
    • Draw a shape on the map by following the next steps, or simply tap “save” located under the pencil icon and a square shape will drawn for you. Tap “Clear” to remove the shape.
    • Tap the Draw tool indicated by a pencil icon located in the top right portion of the map
    • Place your finger on the map and, in one single motion, move your finger around the circumference of your desired geographical area of interest and just before reaching the end of the boundary, lift your finger off the screen
    • This takes getting used to. If you are unhappy with your shape, tap “Clear” which is located where the pencil was. Then tap the pencil and try drawing the shape again, until you are happy with it.
    • Once you have a shape you’re happy with, and your filters set, tap “Save”
  • Give your shape a name
    • Tap Create
  • Saved Searches are needed so the system is aware of what listings you want to be notified about
    • And, you’ll have a Saved Search
    • Your Saved Search acts as an “I’m looking for” beacon to listing agents who have inventory matching what you’re looking for.
